Le Dejeuner

Our son Tom, the recent law school graduate, had a job interview this morning here in Boston, so he came up to town yesterday evening, and spent the night with us in our apartment.

After his interview today, we took Tom to one of our favourite places to eat, Bistro du Midi on Boylston Street. The weather today is absolutely perfect -- one of the 10 best days of the year, I'd guess! Temperatures are nice and cool, the sun is shining, and there are pretty, puffy white clouds in the sky. If you are lucky, (and we were) you can sit at one of Bistro du Midi's outdoor tables, where you can enjoy lunch and watch the world go by, with a lovely view of the Boston Public Garden thrown in for good measure.

Tom ordered a Caesar Salad, and Mr. W and I ordered the delicious Provencal Lamb Cannelloni, which you can see here. Magnifique!
