Brrrrr……… Cccccold.

There was a heavy frost this morning. So much so it took some care to walk the concrete paths on the route Maisie and I took this morning. Damp and wet patches where puddles had formed during yesterday’s rain were surfaced with black ice and were dangerously slippery. Once home and with the heat pump humming away, I spent the morning doing paperwork. This afternoon I drove friend Dawn to see the Podiatrist and then to the cafe at Mitre 10 for afternoon tea. After socializing with friends we drove into town for some tasks. The fire in the wood stove is making the house cosy this evening. Apparently some areas of the South Island may get snow overnight. Winter is hanging in there.
