Oops, Not for Vegetarians!

As Blethers has occasionally said this was not a huvtae day- I had no reason to get up and get out early. I arranged to meet LeeAnne for coffee but she found the Quartermile carpark was already full at 10am so plan B was put into operation and we drove to Morningside for our catch up and very nice it was too.

Once home it was a case of domestic duties, changing beds, washing bed linen, ironing said sheets when dry, attacking dusty corners in the bedroom perched on a ladder, cutting back cotoneaster that was threatening  to take over the patio and finally dealing with what Daughter #3 had left behind in the fridge namely 3 onions, 6 limp carrots,  3 big potatoes and some broccoli. With some tinned tomatoes and a lot of spices it should be ok with some spaghetti. I think there’s only one bed sheet to wash before I’ve caught up with the holiday backlog….. oh I forgot, there’s the rest of the wine Daughter#3 left behind.

I had a wander through George Square gardens, now host to the drinks fest as opposed to the food fest outside in the Square and found these blips which did make me chuckle.
