Scotsdales Refurbishments

We visited Scotsdales Garden Centre, briefly his morning to get some more lavender plants to replace those eaten by the deer. Deer are not supposed to like lavender, but it seems our deer have not been educated of that fact. Then we went to Addenbrookes hospital for my husband’s, for his four-week eye checkup after the surgery; all very good and a better result than expected. He has another checkup in six week’s time.
 
Scotsdales are having major work done and a complete make-over. The outside seating and the conservatory have been removed and all the outside plants have been moved. It seems they will have a new undercover plant area which will be completed in 2024 and a new food hall and restaurant completed in 2025.
 
Today’s picture was taken through the wire of some of the work, which is being carried out. This is where the outside seating and conservatory were as well as where some of the plants were housed.
