A Sunflower
On my walk today I came across a small patch of dwarf sunflowers at the edge of a wheat crop.
The flowers are only about 15cm across and the plants are about a metre high.
I chose this one to photograph up close and then got a wider view of them (see extra). Not as spectacular as their bog cousins but still a lovely sight.
Washing (two loads) dried outside today - and apart from the ‘big shop’ I haven’t done much….the calm before the storm…the granddaughters are coming to stay for a night on Thursday….
