Chiswick roundabout

I walked across this busy roundabout today, which is under the M4 flyover. It is also known as the Jayne Mansfield roundabout, after the Hollywood actress who opened it in 1959. There was snobbish criticism about her at the time, and I saw an interview on TV recently in which Robert Robinson was appallingly patronising to her. This blip is a tribute to her good sense and humour, and I am pleased the sign records her presence here.
