Resting

I was called into the office at work to look at this today. I have seen one before and knew it was a Poplar Hawk Moth. I sent a picture to my brother, who’s a bit of an expert, who confirmed it was female ( a more pointed abdomen apparently) It was perched on some bubble wrap. We left it where it was and after the store closed, we gently got it onto a tile and moved it outside.
