Portsoy

Better weather today. We headed for Portsoy, the village where the Eddy Izzard film version of Whisky Galore was made, also where series 6 of Peaky Blinders was filmed. An interesting area with a French theme remaining in the place. The icing on the cake was to hear French voices from a nearby family. The cafe provided a good decaf coffee and an update explaining about Peaky Blinders, all unknown to us. The marble gallery was excellent, Sue was a mine of information, passionate about the subject.

Back to Cullen for a wonderful seafood takeaway from the fish deli and on to the ice cream shop to buy 99’s in a waffle cone. We sat in the bench overlooking Cullen bay, most enjoyable.
