W-I-D-E on Wednesday: An Odd Number

While we were sitting in the kitchen eating our evening meal I realised I'd not yet taken my blip. Then it dawned on me that I was looking at a suitable subject: Bobsblips has set "an odd number" as today's Widwed challenge and I was staring at an odd number of spice drawers and an odd number of utensils on our oak dresser unit. Blip chosen.

I confess that the "spice drawers" have never contained any spices - we could never justify storing such a large amount thereof so the drawers are usually full of things for which we can't think of anywhere else to put them (and most of which  we don't need to keep anyway!).

It's Day 5 of my current bout of Covid and I'm pleased to say that I'm lucky: the symptoms have pretty well resolved (and they were fairly mild anyway) so as long as they don't decide to have a second go at me I'm happy. My domestic brownie points have taken a slight tumble however as my Editor now has the lurgy so I'm to blame for sharing it with her! (We're actually even now: when we had the bug 18 months ago she got it first and passed it on to me!).
