Carnival Time

Today the weather was kind which was perfect for Ventnor Carnival. The evening procession started at 7pm followed by superb fireworks at 9 pm. All of Ventnor get involved albeit mainly as spectators!!! The Ventnor Comic Jazz Band are hilarious and the more serious bands equally entertaining. The Comic Band took part in the Queen’s Jubilee Parade. Carnivals when I was a girl were large, grand affairs but with lack of interest and health and safety issues they are not like they used to be!!!
