Stressful

Spent a while peeling off old rubber that was starting to crumble into a semi liquid substance. New buttons ordered and arrived but the button frame made of hard plastic won’t fit my fob. It needs sanding but with a precision machine of some sort. The buttons minus frame are replaced now. For now I have a smart fob that works but is held in place with sellotape!

The precision screwdriver I used was great. I had a choice of 20 but I know most people wouldn’t have access to such things so I felt grateful for that. I had been using my nails and a cocktail stick with no success at one point.

New fob ordered and MrH thinks
He may be back briefly one weekend soon so he can look at it and advise.
