Games

Good weather and my day to visit mom in the afternoon. I knew it was petanque games so i came earlier so i could bring mom over there. The activity was delayed so we first had a coffee in the living room. Afterwards we took place outside in the shadow as mom can t stand the heavy sunlight. Well she won the first game and out of 4 turns she won another one. She was the champ of the day and maybe the eldiest one(96y). I had a bit of concern , healthwise that she is looking too pale , so there might be some deficiency of iron or other minerals. But she didn t want the doctor to come for a check up. So i have to discuss with my sister what to do.She also doesn t want to sleep too long so i asked the head nurse to let her be awake at 8 AM. A few days ago she slept till noon. I said mom it is ok too sleep sometimes a bit longer. Offcourse morning meal close to dinner isn t that ideal.Wel she needs to grow in acceptance and give herself some time in settling and grief
