Anyone for Dennis?
The title is a devastatingly funny play on the name of this engine, I know that you are probably already wiping your eyes through gales of mirth.
For the odd few who are not in paroxysms of hysterical laughter, this is Dennis G Robinson. It's a class 33 which first entered service in 1962 and is usually at the Mid Norfolk railway, it's named after the owner's father - Robinson was heavily involved in the introduction of 33s to BR Southern Region. It's one of the few locomotives at KESR that is younger than me. It was used last year during the steam ban because of the risk of lineside fires and is back again.
There was steam too, check the extras for Swiftsure.
It was nice to play wag, get out in the sun and grab some fresh air - I don't do it often enough.
