Loch Venachar

Yesterday we decided at the lastminute.com to go away for a few days. My work is really messing with my weekends, delaying work so I keep the weekend free, then they delay the work further, and we've lost the chance to plan for that weekend, pah! Hence the stars aligned and there was an opportunity... for a few days at Loch Awe right opposite where we stayed 3 years ago! Although I think the view is better this side... Ms H had to stay at home as she is working, Awe what a shame :-( But she is offski herself next week anyway!

On the way we stopped at Loch Venachar for Arlo to stretch his legs, this is the view over to Ben Ledi. It was hot as expected, not much sun, but that's fine. We're staying in a cabin and walked 0.5km along the beach to the hotel for a meal and some beers, then back along the beach. Arlo was on his best behaviour at the restaurant, he must have been tired, but a big thumbs up from us!
