In dire need

I've been putting off cleaning the grates on the BBQ for far too long. They are in dire need of a bloody good clean.
So taday, it was to buy a plastic tub to put the grates in while I covered them in white vinegar. Now it's just to wait for 24 hours. Maybe rinse and repeat if necessary.
It took all of 3 minutes, so why did I keep putting it off?
I dunno, you tell me.
