Cutting Back...

Back-blipped as usual..


Men-with-Clippers to the rescue..My arborist sent two of his crew today to prune my much overgrown trees out front..giving them space to breathe and to release the plants at their base to enjoy some sunshine. Major pruning of the monster trees out back will take place this winter...I must say those little trees look so much better after their haircut...

Today was also a day of "cutting back" Maggie's pain medication. Yesterday, just as I was hoping that she was on the mend, she had a "relapse" and I had to give her a shot of her painkiller..Drat. Later in the day, though she perked up again...so who knows if it was the painkiller or her new meds taking effect... 

Today, she has been much better and there was no need for any pain medication! The vet called to check on her and suggested that her symptoms could be related to her uncontrolled thyroxin levels and that they should clear up as she gets stabilized. Pain meds may not be needed. Fingers crossed that that is the case and that she is well on her way to being her old self.
