Birthday birthday

Taking off in London with Andy and then arriving in Belfast to see my family was just a perfect start to my birthday. Followed by a walk around the city which ended with a drink in this fabulous pub. The Crown Liquor Saloon is described as one of the mightiest Victorian gin palaces. We spent a long time sitting in a private snug, soaking up the surroundings, from the richly-coloured ceiling, to the wooden panelled walls, and the gunmetal plates for striking matches.

Cocktails and dinner at The Barking Dog restaurant concluded the first birthday spent with all of my family in 16 years! This year has been special as I have spent my parents' and brother's birthdays with them (or near enough!). Happy times!
