Another white...

...butterfly in the garden. A couple of bees, very quiet on the wildlife front. 

For years people thought butterflies were deaf but many species actually have hearing organs located at the wings' base and have been proven to hear a wide range of sounds.

I have been deaf in my left ear this week. It has an opening to the ear canal that is half the size expected and so becomes blocked easily by wax. I had it micro suctioned this morning and I am relieved to be hearing properly again.
