Today's the day ......................... to go to a concert

I'm just about to go out to a concert in Gatehouse-of-Fleet, put on by the  Gatehouse Musical Society featuring Gentle Jazz.

As the programme note says - 'Gentle Jazz is a group of mature Dumfries and Galloway performers with many concerts in the region under its belts.  Their performances feature the ‘greats’: the well-loved songs of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin from the 1920s and 30s, together with the occasional ‘novelty’ from the 1960s. Their style is mainly 60s ‘bebop’ jazz, with a touch of bossanova - and their aim is to provide good entertainment whilst avoiding excessive din at all costs'.  So that all sounds good.

This is a painting that Will did recently of their keyboard player and saxophonist, Geoff Keating.  Will will be painting tonight as they play - and I'm sure he'll be blipping the result ........................!
