Gemstones

I'm tired today,
aga service, mop, phone calls.
And play with Ben's gems.

Ben was out from 10-2pm today, I nipped for some anniversary flowers for Mr KCNQ2Haiku's mum and dad, walked the dog, dealt with the aga service, spoke to my Dad, steam cleaned the floors, did the ironing and then sat with Ben when he came home and wanted to get out all his rocks.  My enthusiasm was low, it has to be said but actually he was quite sweet getting them all out and talking about them.  He was over half an hour with it all which is an awful lot for Ben's concentration levels.  He must be tired too!
