Apples on a tree .
The Feast Day of Saint Clare. Patron saint of eye disease, goldsmiths, laundry, television, bicycle messengers, good weather and needleworkers.
St. Clare was inspired by St. Francis of Assisi. They renounced great wealth and started holy, God respecting peaceful communities.
It rained over night and there were raindrops on the beautiful orange rose in the garden.
After breakfast time, Paul and me walked to the pharmacy on the High Street, and then collected a cushion we had left at our old house and checked for post.
I spent some of the afternoon looking after our indoor plants and spraying them, as it was 88f in the conservatory. Very warm indeed. Some plants were relocated so they were safer and not over heated nor dehydrated. The big heavy Peace Lily we decided to place in the inner porch, because it is cool and not in direct sunlight there.
Paul helped me to re pot an old, large and well treasured succulent plant, that is the parent of several younger plants. They have vibrant orange flowers when the time comes around. A morning deliverer brought a
Damart order for a cotton cardigan and a free navy handbag was delivered.
So too a Fruit of the Loom t shirt. Cotton is a God send in this hot weather
Thank you for visiting my site, and have a happy weekend.
