Morning Light, River Tyne

I was at Son#3’s house briefly, quite early this morning, which gave me the opportunity to take this photo looking down the River Tyne from near where he lives. It was a lovely morning and the river looked rather splendid as you can see: it’s been the warmest day so far this year.

Anyway, enough of that. What you really want to know is to whom we’ve awarded Hearts and Honourable Mentions for last weekend’s Silly Saturday challenge. My Editor and I had lots of giggles looking at them so many thanks to all blippers who participated in this month’s challenge. Deciding who should be given awards was as tricky as ever, but here’s our final choices:
