Snapped..!

One half of our beautiful greengage tree which has given us so much fruit over many years, finally snapped off today. This year has been a bumper crop and the fruit obviously put a strain on the already poorly branch. A sad goodbye and a tree that may now be on its last legs.

Good news! I took Janet to visit Iris this afternoon and suggested we sit in the small lounge next door to her room. We did, and Iris took her first steps outside of her front door since coming home six weeks ago. She looks good, yes?
