wonderful nature

This magnificent fern from my homeland has been looking worse for wear recently...fonds browning and nothing new appearing. I asked for expert advice fearing the worst and was reassured that all was well, it was just suffering from the cold and long winter. My relief was great and within days it started to sprout once again. It has been amazing to watch as it uncurls centimetre by centimetre, the children rush to it each morning to see how much more has appeared as if by magic!

It is extra special as it was a wedding gift and yesterday was our second anniversary. It seems crazy to relate it to our marriage but I like to think of us together uncurling and growing and reaching up as the sun once again warms our own lives.
