We had some rain

Which was really helpful for what few flowers that are still trying to bloom.  Gazanias are really hardy but they are only blooming one bloom at a time.  I will be giving them some food to see if it will help.  The heat is going to be really awful for the next few days with temperatures near 100F then it is going to "cool" off with temps in the mid 90s.   Too funny as hot is hot.

Apparently the heat is good for the apple orchards as I saw that my favorite orchard is open for the season with honey crisp, jonagold and fuji apples as well as some I am not familiar with.   Looks like a road trip coming up on Monday to get fresh apples.
