GOLDEN PENDA?

This tree, in my rear garden, has bloomed for the first time since I have lived here.
It is covered with these tiny, bright yellow flowers.

My plant ID APP, PICTURE THIS,
says it is:
GOLDEN PEDA
Xanthostemon chrysanthus, which
Is a drought tolerant Australian tree.
The APP is not always correct, so
I have doubts.

Enjoying it, in the late afternoon, dappled sunlight is enough.
