Two and a tiny bit
The three remaining hens have continued to each lay five or six eggs a week throughout the winter so far which I was not expecting. Normally they would stop laying and moult by now, but not this hardy productive trio.
Today’s third egg was a surprise. Bean ate it with her tea. A tiny mouthful for her.
The day has been full of phone calls with brothers and an unexpected visitor all afternoon, so I’m way behind on everything including Blips. I’ll try to catch up with journals and comments tomorrow…
