The plumber came with a second motorised valve which will not fit the existing so a full replacement required involving a full drain down - next week when another part arrives.
The access in the cupboard was impossible so a lot of dismantling was necessary.
I've decided to cut back the cupboard now as its half done rather than reinstate it.
The concrete has been laid on the 4B (blue brick burn bridge) so I'm on with the posts to support the handrails.
