Hot Air Balloons
We were up early this morning to see the mass ascent of balloons as part of the Bristol International Balloon Festival. The choice of viewpoint is always a bit of pot luck as you can never be sure in which direction the balloons will travel. We chose to view it from the Clifton Observatory in the hope that the balloons would come towards us over the Clifton Suspension Bridge. In practice they flew behind the bridge rather then over it, but it was still entertaining.
There were a lot of people out to watch, and the hill was very busy. It was a pleasure to met RobBris50 there.
