...from the Madding Crowd of weekend tourists, early this morning as the tide was coming in, the light was milky, as was the sky.

We're off on the train to Southsea after lunch to be with friends, trusting that RMT Saturday strikes will have allowed for at least a couple of running trains to get us there.
