Already

Went for my eye exam today and all is well.  The cataract surgeries are a win and my new glasses will be mostly just readers with a tweak for distance because of my astigmatism - yaaaaaaay!  
I went to the big box store and this is what I see - Halloween stuff already and even a snowman for it.  See extra - I like him.
An update on the kittens - thankfully the SPCA (no kill) took in the last 3 kittens and spayed their mama (coontail).  She is back here at our house with her mother (mama kitty).  No worries about any more litters and they are safe here. We'll keep them fed and taken care of.
