On the canal

Launch of Glasgow Science Festival, and of The Clipperton Project - a great arts & science project which travels the world & will be popping up around Scotland, starting in Glasgow. While waiting by the canal in the sun (with our Scottish skin liberally sunscreened - prepared for every eventuality!), we saw loads of people walking, cycling, picnicking. Then we went on a mini cruise with other guests & people working on the project. A brilliant way to spend an afternoon.

Quickly back to Edinburgh for a reception at Standard Life for friends of Stonewall. A lovely, busy evening with great chat & networking. And I won a goody bag in the raffle!

Not bad for a Tuesday.
