Picnic
I've had a FAB time today !
This morning I had a very productive meeting at the estate office with the guy who deals with grazing lets, all sorted and the stuff that needs doing will be done ... Plus some.
Tis amazing what with-holding half the rent achieves.
This afternoon I trundled over to Riccall and had a couple of hours with my big sis, had an impromptu face call with my niece who lives in Essex, she showed me around her house and I got to watch my great niece do a lovely dance. I do love all the tech stuff that enables us to do this.
The phone call I was waiting for came just after 5pm.
My daughter and family had arrived home from their holidays... Off I went to deliver Disco dog back to them and have the most fab time ever, both Grandkids absolutely full of lovely tales to tell me about their fun times and travels in Portugal.
I would have taken a photo of them both showing me their collections of shells from the beach... They had both decided to get naked - they don't care too much for clothes- so that put paid to that.
So here we have a couple of local nags grazing in the centre of my village whilst the riders had stopped off for a quick pint in the Fleece.
Any one passing thru the village in the next few days should take a look at the hay stooks
that are going to appear at the east end, our dear friend has said he will turn the cut green for hay....umm!
Them who lives longest and all that :-)
