Steve came round this morning with all the gear to sand everything down. I’d gotten all the paint supplies already. We were both surprised how easily the sanding went and thankfully, no issues with the wood itself.

We had planned to be spending all day on it but we finished by 1pm. Second coat tomorrow morning then all done. We really didn’t think these ones would survive another summer with no issues so I’m glad we got them done. Can tackle the more sheltered front door and windows next year.
