Unexpected

A little while ago, I posted a blip of some pine seedlings. There are still some seeds in the cone, but I was surprised to see that a few of them were starting to sprout.

I managed to wiggle out a few and potted them... and I've also potted the pine cone to see what happens with the seeds which are still stuck in there but are showing some green.
