Rooftop Curlew

Plenty of Curlew about at the moment. Last night in the calmness of the village I looked out of the living room window to see 6 curlew and 7 oystercatcher in the next field. Today at one point there were 11 curlew visible in the field which has just been cut and is perfect for birds with long bills to feed.
In the extra, another bird that seems to have had a good breeding season, a Meadow Pipit.
