Morecambe in Morecambe

Dry first thing, but the rain soon came in, rain on and off all day, with the odd sunny spell.  Windy all day.  Reports back home, sunny and warmer. 

Up early, and packed the bags, cleaned the house, time to hand the keys back and move on.  Travelled north, stopped at Morecambe.  Lunch and walk at Broughton in Furness, and a Tom-tom took us through the hills to our final stop, Whitehaven.  Settled into the new house, but rain has put off any exploring this evening.  Might try the local across the road.

Thankfully the rained eased when we arrived in Morecambe, and got a good stretch of the legs and a look around the town.  We wasted a few pennies at the arcades, nipped into the market and a walk along the promenade.  The promenade is where we bumped into Eric Morecambe, jolly as usual.  Taken on the Morecambe Promenade, Lancashire.
