Last jabs for a while :-)
Awwww, Eva's last jabs until she's 1 were today at 11am. She was still fast asleep having her morning nap when it was time to get ready to go, so I picked her up and carried her downstairs snuggled on my shoulder still half asleep feeling all guilty that a) I'd woken her up and b) where I was taking her. Mike came out of work to take us. I'd booked her in to see the doctor before her jabs as she'd been rubbing her eyes and I wanted to be reassured she hasn't got hay fever like me, I was assured she hasn't so that's good. Bless her, she literally cried for like 10 seconds having her vaccinations, if that, and has been her usual smiley self all day since bless her so much! Today's pic was taken just after, when she was back in her car seat to go home with bunny and num nums.
We went round my moms in the afternoon, and it was lovely to see Nanny, Grandad Stevenson, Uncle David and Lorna :-). Nanny got a throw to put on the floor so Eva could have a good old wriggle and she showed them how strong she is getting lying on her front now and reaching out for her toys.
At about 8.30pm, I was busy seeing to the cats and Mike went up to bath Eva and settled her down upstairs with some In The Night Garden (her favourite). She'd only had a nap shortly before, but I thought, I wonder if she'll go to bed? So I fed her lying on the bed all snuggly and was humming lullabys to her, by 9.20pm I put her in her bed and she was still awake, so I carried on humming the lullaby for a few minutes and then walked out, and it's now 11pm as I write this and she's settled herself to sleep again for the 2nd night running before 9.30pm. We're getting good at this :-) xx
