(Brum) Book(shops) are my bag

A trip with the bestest friend today to the west to see the recently-weds and sample some of their favourite places. It was lovely to see them both in their space and to visit bookshops, eateries and green spaces. We walked to Bournville and made purchases in the Bookshop on the Green (left-hand pile) and then visited The Rest House gifted by his workers to George Cadbury. We were treated to an account about some of the key elements by a George Cadbury fan who kindly shared her passion for the man and his ethics. Lunch back in Stirchley before bookshop number two - The Heath Bookshop (right-hand pile) - tea and cake taken away as the rain came - but didn't last for long and then a walk in Cannon Hill Park before we said our goodbyes and headed back east. 

A very lovely day, good shopping (including in the big Marks which lived up to the hype) and spending a day with some of my very favourite people. And Bailey had two visits from his favourite person too so he wasn't left out completely.
