Mixed border

The plants in the border are certainly not short of water! The flowers are opening in spite of the ceaseless rain and there are always a few bees and hoverflies on them.
At this time of year I do like to get in and have a good weed, and remove or shift anything that’s in the wrong place and getting swamped. However it’s all so soggy that digging is really out of the question and all I can do is pull weeds that are showing through. It’s all very lush anyway.
We had a few board games this evening. Andrew is doing a Night Shift and can play with us between calls. That’s the advantage of working from home! But he will be up all night and asleep in the morning so that’s not so much fun. Sort of helps with the baby care though!
