Digital Deliverance
My brother's friends handle a skateboard well enough to gleefully tell me that, when I proposed to go skating/photographing for a day, this would "make their sponsors happy". So when that day came I was pretty psyched to get my fisheye on.
But traffic jams, lots of rain and an art expo tried their hardest to keep all this from happening. When we did finally find our way to an indoor court, the setting and lighting was really poor, and I didn't manage to take even so much as a single blip-worthy shot.
Upon uploading I was just unhappy about virtually every photo I'd taken, and I found this the ideal occasion to go back to my days of making siggies for forumites, i.e. photoshopping the holy fuck out of stuff - although now this practice would serve as a means of salvaging some of the original photo's aesthetic merit.
Much of my skill has waned, but it was loads of fun.
Here's to a sunny day full of skating and proper photography, when there is no need for all this digital muckin' about.
