Bubble boy

We saw Asha for about 20 minutes between sleepover, art class and pool with a friend. She'll sleep well tonight. Whilst she was out we took Nate to play in a shady park. Home to cook for friends Mark and Hannah who came for dinner. We had a great night, but a very late one! We had to wake Mitch about 9,45pm as he'd slept through alarms and was starting work at 10,30!
Just had a nasty shock checking on the kids - could smell burning plastic - it was their fan!!!!! I've unplugged it totally... They'll have to sweat it out tonight.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate making me lunch - he created a 'salad bar' with a sign called "Happy Salads at Hom"...he forgot the last 'e'. Ha!
2) An evening with Mark and Hannah. They're the lovely friends who had Mitch stsy with them whilst we were in the UK and the Italians were in our flat.
3) Catching the fan before anything awful happened.
