What a day!

First to the art gallery for lunch and a course on American cinema of the 1970s, then home to watch the Matildas while I cooked dinner. At 7pm the game went to penalties and we were due to leave for a concert at the Opera House. We managed to listen until the reception ran out in the car park.
Back upstairs ( where the photo was taken) outside the sails of the Opera House decked in green and gold as it went to penalties.
We waited and waited as each penalty was equalised. Finally we had to go in or miss the concert. The orchestra was warming up and there was a cheer. Australia through to the semi finals
