The view from the back door 23:30

I love the light nights at this time of the year (although I like the winter as well, when it's clear and I can stargaze/aurora hunt). It doesn't get properly dark here around the summer solstice; just a few hours of twilight.

I spent most of today in Children's Panel training - a new act is being introduced, and we panel members have to get our heads round a number of different procedures and terminology changes. We did get a lovely three course dinner though and the Panel training is always very well run and delivered, so it's not too bad.
