Stage is set

Tired this morning when we got up to take the dogs to the field, not helped by the late night last night and this cold. Dogs had a great time in the field despite the drizzle. Sorted some things out in the house and then went out to get a Chinese for J’s dads birthday. Took the dogs for a walk and then headed up to the festival theatre to see Lady Blackbird, she was meant to be a bit like Nina Simone. First half of the show was not a lot of her singing but more funky jazz from and instrumental stuff from the band to the point I almost feel asleep. They managed to murder a cover of the Beatles Come together before she actually started to sing for the last 30 minutes. Came back and watched the start of the start of the France v Scotland game.
