21st Century Birthday Parties

I went to see a friend who is a foster parent. One of her girls was 9 and she arranged for a Harry Potter themed teepee sleepover. The birthday cake, also HP themed, cost £75 and none of the children apparently ate cake (I did!!)
How times have changed! My sister and I were happy to have a few friends in, eat sandwiches, jelly and ice cream and run around the garden!
