Birthday weekend

Two night in Edinburgh getting some of that "kulture" the pensioner is always banging on about. La Cirque in the Spiegeltent on arrival. Jaw dropping and hilarious in turns. And quite rude. I thought the jaw of the teenage boy in the front row was going to hit the floor. Then exhibitions the next day including World Press Photo entries. Beautiful but depressing to see so much suffering, and all man made. Grayson Perry exhibition before that. Wonderful and too much to take in. Very busy though and timed entries didn't seem to help much. But...nearly £80 for four of us and then overpriced merch on offer as you leave. Jarred with the message on so much of his work. Then a show, Comedy of Operas. Funny, imaginative and hugely talented. Just brilliant. Even the non opera buffs loved it. Finally pub, curry, and chat. A great weekend. Thank you Wee F.
