Dismal

Today is dismal and sunless AGAIN! The only useful thing the rain does is enhance leaves in the garden. I took this after midnight with my head torch on, as I went out to top up the hedgehogs’ food. They just eat and eat and eat. I put food out at about 8 pm but by midnight the bowls are empty! So they have a midnight top up to see them through the rest of the night.

It’s still raining now. It just stops and starts. Yet South West Water still won’t lift the hosepipe ban., They just keep taking the money, paying their shareholders, and dumping sewage in the sea and rivers. They are ‘allowed’ to dump sewage when there’s lots of rain.
