Star Wars

Today we decided to venture out for a blip. The weather was meant to be fairly nice so we headed over to Skegness . We did have some rain on the journey over which was heavy at times.
Upon arriving we just managed to find a parking spot  on a side street. Skegness was looking fairly busy and upon walking up towards the sea front area we discovered why it was fairly busy. Today was the Skegness Carnival parade . We decided to hang around and watch it and take a few photos. I went with this Star wars one probably not my best but it does show the crowd lining the roadside . more shots are on Flickr along with an extra on here. 
Afterwards we went and enjoyed some fish & Chips  be rude not to while at the coast and then a walk along the sea front and pier . Pleased to say the weather was nice a little breezy but it did stay dry  . On the journey home a detour to pick up some bits from Julie's dads bungalow and also read his gas and electric so much  for smart meters not so smart that they don't send a reading and also fun trying to find out how to get a reading but got there thanks to google .

Back home home chilling and watching some more one hundred cricket after catching the 2nd half of the football .
