It’s the first time I have joined in but as I started to read this book and it fitted into the history category this month I decided to blip it.
It is set in Egypt 1942 in WWII. It is a fascinating perspective of the struggle over Tobruk. Ken Follett creates such great characters in his books and it makes great reading whatever his subject. I enjoyed the book.

The weather was very dull and a cold wind. Cooler again than forecast.
